Noteworthy Items:
Three Oaks is proud to be sending six student delegates to the Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC) 2009 in Olds, Alberta Sept. 29-Oct. 4. Stuart MacLean, Heather Baglole, Paige Camreon, Travis Gordon, Lyndon Bryanton, and Bethany Wright will be participating in leadership workshops, attending keynote speaker sessions, and collecting all kinds of great ideas to implement back at TOSH. We wish them well as they "Lead the Stampede!" This year’s Student Council Magazine Campaign will begin October 8th and run through to October 26th. We would like to thank those in the community who have supported our campaign in the past and encourage them to continue to do so. The Magazine Campaign helps to fund many student activities at TOSH. To support this year’s campaign, you may order or renew subscriptions through Three Oaks students or through the QSP link accessible on the Three Oaks website.
TOSH would like to inform the public of our ongoing Reading Program. As a school, we start each day with a 15 minute silent reading period in order to encourage our students to read and develop their literacy skills. In order to support our endeavours, we would appreciate it if the general public donated reading materials, in particular current magazines, to the school by dropping them off in the main office during regular business hours.
