Important Notice: The Three Oaks Administration and staff are asking parents/guardians to do their part in the fight against the H1N1 Virus by reporting their child’s absence to the school first thing in the morning. When doing so, it is very important that you specify whether or not the child is absent due to influenza-like-illness. Influenza-like-illness (ILI) includes acute onset of respiratory symptoms with fever and cough and one or more of the following symptoms: sore throat, muscle aches, joint pain or weakness. Gastrointestinal symptoms may also be present and fever may not be prominent. If students are exhibiting these symptoms, we ask that they stay out of school until they are symptom free.
Please report all absences to the school by phoning the school at 888-8460 and leaving a message on our answering machine which is available 24hours a day, by speaking directly with a member of the Administration or by emailing
pdrodgerson@edu.pe.ca. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

TOSH would like to inform the public of our ongoing Reading Program. As a school, we start each day with a 15 minute silent reading period in order to encourage our students to read and develop their literacy skills. In order to support our endeavors, we would appreciate it if the general public donated reading materials, in particular current magazines, to the school by dropping them off in the main office during regular business hours.
