Monday, May 18th - Victoria Day, no classes.
Tuesday, May 19th - Day 1 (A-B-C-D) The special in the cafeteria at noon is honey mustard wrap or spaghetti.
The Three Oaks Minor Soccer program begins at 6:30 p.m.. Approximately 200 participants will take to the fields with 60+ student coaches and co-ordinators, each within their own colour co-ordinated t-shirts compliments of local sponsors. The program uses the fields surrounding Three Oaks.
Wednesday, May 20th - Day 2 (B-A-D-C) The special in the cafeteria at noon is chicken burger and fries.
A "Positive Choices" presentation will take place in the Lecture Theatre. Three Oaks is hosting a number of these sessions over the course of the year. The purpose is to help students meet some of the challenges they must face and help make positive choices in their lives. The topic for this session is "Impaired Driving."
In sports, the A girls’ rugby team hosts Kensington. Game times are 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The girls’ and boys’ softball teams host Westisle. Game times are 5 p.m.
Thursday, May 21st - Day 1 (A-B-C-D) The special in the cafeteria at noon is roast turkey dinner or macaroni casserole.
The Family Place family resource centre, will host lunch and learn sessions for pregnant and parenting students in the school. They are invited to join Lori Clarke each Thursday as she’ll share lunch and information on topics such as; pre-natal care, labour, delivery, and parenting. The group meets each Thursday in the Three Oaks conference room at noon.
The Three Oaks Minor Soccer program is scheduled for the fields beginning at 6:30 p.m.
A Safe-Grad parent and student information night is scheduled for the Lecture Theatre beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, May 22nd - Day 2 (B-A-D-C) The special in the cafeteria at noon is bacon cheeseburger and fries.
In sports, the A girls’ and boys’ rugby teams host Charlottetown Rural. Game times are 5:30 and 7 p.m. The AAA girls’ and boys’ host Charlottetown Rural. Game times are 6 p.m.
Saturday, May 23rd - The Graduation Prom is scheduled for the cafeteria beginning at 9 p.m. Doors will be open at 8 p.m. and close at 9:30 p.m. No one is allowed in after this time. Grads are advised it is school policy that other senior high students and past graduates must be signed in by their Three Oaks escort and will be the responsibility of the graduate who signs them in.

Noteworthy Items:
Holland College will be offering summer credits in the following courses: Math 421, 521, 621, Biology 621, Chemistry 521, 621, and Physics 621. Courses run from June 1st to the end of August on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The locations are Charlottetown and Tignish.
Congratulations to the AAA boys’ rugby team who won their own David Voye Memorial Tournament recently. They defeated Charlottetown Rural in the championship final. The girls also had a respectable showing with a 2 win - 1 loss record.
The end of the year draws near. Parents and students should note as of May 25th only 12 days before grade 12 exams begin and 14 days before grade 10 and 11 exams begin. Exams begin Wednesday, June 10th.
Grads:
A transcript sign up sheet is available to indicate where graduates would like to have their transcripts sent for next year. Please check the bursary board for new arrivals regarding possible financial aid for next year.
If you have received a bursary or scholarship offer, please show verification of this award to Student Services. Only offers which have been verified will be announced at graduation.
